Fedora 17 is one of the varieties of industrial hemp that we found that is certified by the European Union.
It is a variety of regular seeds, monoecious, i.e. it produces both female and male flowers on the same stalk, as is the case with most certified industrial hemp varieties. Its cultivation was initially done basically to obtain fibre, although its cultivation is becoming more and more widespread with the aim of producing CBD-rich oil. In general, however, we can say that Fedora 17 is an ideal variety for both fibre and seeds.
Its complete life cycle is approximately 129-134 days, starting with sowing in mid-April at the beginning of May, in this period it is necessary to maintain high humidity as well as the beginning of growth, then the vegetative phase goes until the beginning of August, flowering around the months of August and September, to finish flowering and maturing, and obtaining the harvest at the end of September approximately.
